The wild pig is a wily foe for an Australian camper. Aside from the usual fears of crocodiles and snakes, the wild pig can intervene when you least expect it, and in the least expected ways.

Over the weekend, one feral pig stumbled upon a campground and commenced to causing a ruckus. The pig downed 18 beers left out in the open, and that’s when things got rough.

One visitor described the scene: ”In the middle of the night these people camping opposite us heard a noise, so they got their torch out and shone it on the pig and there he was, scrunching away at their cans.”

Feeling pugilistic with a little big of Dutch courage, the pig started a fight with a cow, but the cow reacted in kind, leading to a high speed chase on 4-legs.

“There were some other people camped right on the river and they saw [the pig] being chased around their vehicle by a cow,” said the witness.

Later that evening, the pig was found snoozing under a tree—likely with one hell of a hangover (and trying to get his story straight for that awkward return home).
